Company History

Head Office in Dartford
We have grown from a small cleaning only service provider in 2007 to a multi service provider of both single service, bundled service and multi service activities to clients across most of the UK. Our Head Office is in Dartford well placed for transport links and co-ordinates the administration and management of the organisation through our regional offices in Derby, Wolverhampton, Liverpool and Newcastle.
In developing our business to incorporate current best practice as second nature we have achieved Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and Energy Management Standards that are internationally recognised being ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
We have developed an organisational culture of transparency, openness, inclusiveness and team work focusing on our people in the frontline as they are the public face of our organisation without whom a quality service would not be delivered.

The organisation’ aim is to promote an expanding range of individual and multi-services to our existing and potential clients. In addition to this it aims to provide these services in a manner which conforms to the contract specification of its client, and any applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
It is the policy to ensure that both management and operational personnel within Outsource Cleaning are fully aware and understand the company’s Quality Policy objectives. A well structured and ongoing training and education program will achieve this for personnel at all levels of employment.
Outsource Cleaning Ltd is committed to a structured approach to Health and Safety Management Systems ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, legal requirements and other recommendations of Good Practice.
Environmental objectives and targets will be set by Outsource Cleaning Ltd in consultation with external professional advice. Performance indicators will be set, paying particular attention to:
- A reduction in paper consumption, both virgin and recycled, for internal company use.
- Recycling of internal company paper waste where this is practicable.
- A reduction in Energy consumption in company buildings and vehicles including the use of alternative energy sources.
- The use of less hazardous chemicals, materials, and substances, that are biodegradable and have less impact on the environment.
- The training of our staff in environmental awareness and environmental management.
- A reduction in the packaging of our purchases.
- Procurement of environmentally friendly products wherever possible.
Outsource Cleaning Ltd is predominantly a service industry supplying labour only services to our clients. We will do our utmost to promote environmental awareness amongst our many and varied clients and actively encourage them to adopt best environmental practice and co-operate with those that have environmental management systems in place where there is sound commercial and technical rational.
The Company operates through Area and Site Managers; each one being responsible for the health, safety and welfare of our employees paying particular attention to:
- The carrying out of all appropriate risk and COSHH assessments.
- Provision and maintenance of plant, equipment, and systems of work that are safe and without risk to injury or ill health.
- Arrangements for ensuring safety and absence of risks to health in connection with the use, handling, storage and transport of all materials and substances.
- Provision of such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary.
- Maintenance of any place of work in a condition that is safe and without risk to ill health so far as is reasonably practicable.
- Consultation with employees on matters relating to their health or safety at work.
Outsource Cleaning recognises that management of the company’s own energy consumption and improvements, need to make efficiencies which will make sound business sense and demonstrates a commitment to the principles of sustainability and managed energy usage.
The Company is committed to responsible energy management, energy efficiency improvement and compliance with energy related legislation. This commitment covers both our internal activities as well as activities carried out at our customer’s sites. The company is committed to a structured approach to Energy Management ensuring compliance with ISO 50001, legal requirements and other recommendations of Good Practice.
Outsource Cleaning Ltd is a member of Safety Schemes in Procurement.
Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) is the mutual recognition scheme for occupational health and safety standards. SSIP facilitates mutual recognition between health and safety pre-qualification schemes saving time, effort and cost of multiple certifications.
Outsource Cleaning Ltd received a certificate of assurance and complies with the requirements of the Cyber Essentials Scheme.
The scope of this certification covers the IT infrastructure currently used within Outsource Cleaning Ltd including, but not limited to, servers, workstations, mobile devices, network equipment, firewall hardware, anti-virus and software applications. All equipment within the scope of this assessment is at the Outsource Cleaning Ltd head office in Dartford, Kent and regional offices in Derby, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Fareham, Liverpool and Newcastle.
